mercy Blessed [are] the merciful: for they shall obtain {mercy}. mercy But go ye and learn what [that] meaneth, I will have {mercy}, and not sacrifice: for I am not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance. mercy But if ye had known what [this] meaneth, I will have {mercy}, and not sacrifice, ye would not have condemned the guiltless. mercy Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye pay tithe of mint and anise and cummin, and have omitted the weightier [matters] of the law, judgment, {mercy}, and faith: these ought ye to have done, and not to leave the other un done. mercy And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have {mercy} on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame. ~~~~~~
