raiment Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than {raiment}? raiment And why take ye thought for {raiment}? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin: raiment But what went ye out for to see? A man clothed in soft {raiment}? behold, they that wear soft [clothing] are in kings' houses. raiment But what went ye out for to see? A man clothed in soft {raiment}? Behold, they which are gorgeously apparelled, and live delicately, are in kings' courts. raiment A certain [man] went down from Jerusalem to Jericho, and fell among thieves, which stripped him of his {raiment}, and wounded [him], and departed, leaving [him] half dead. raiment The life is more than meat, and the body [is more] than {raiment}. raiment He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white {raiment}; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels. raiment I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white {raiment}, that thou mayest be clothed, and [that] the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest s ee. ~~~~~~
