said Ye have heard that it was {said} by them of old time, Thou shalt not kill; and whosoever shall kill shall be in danger of the judgment: said Ye have heard that it was {said} by them of old time, Thou shalt not commit adultery: said It hath been {said}, Whosoever shall put away his wife, let him give her a writing of divorcement: said Again, ye have heard that it hath been {said} by them of old time, Thou shalt not forswear thyself, but shalt perform unto the Lord thine oaths: said Ye have heard that it hath been {said}, An eye for an eye, and a tooth for a tooth: said Ye have heard that it hath been {said}, Thou shalt love thy neighbour, and hate thine enemy. said So the servants of the householder came and {said} unto him, Sir, didst not thou sow good seed in thy field? from whence then hath it tares? said He said unto them, An enemy hath done this. The servants {said} unto him, Wilt thou then that we go and gather them up? said He {said} unto them, An enemy hath done this. The servants said unto him, Wilt thou then that we go and gather them up? said But he {said}, Nay; lest while ye gather up the tares, ye root up also the wheat with them. said Then his lord, after that he had called him, {said} unto him, O thou wicked servant, I forgave thee all that debt, because thou desiredst me: said And {said}, For this cause shall a man leave father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife: and they twain shall be one flesh? said And {said} unto them; Go ye also into the vineyard, and whatsoever is right I will give you. And they went their way. said But he answered one of them, and {said}, Friend, I do thee no wrong: didst not thou agree with me for a penny? said But what think ye? A [certain] man had two sons; and he came to the first, and {said}, Son, go work to day in my vineyard. said He answered and {said}, I will not: but afterward he repented, and went. said And he came to the second, and {said} likewise. And he answered and said, I [go], sir: and went not. said And he came to the second, and said likewise. And he answered and {said}, I [go], sir: and went not. said But when the husbandmen saw the son, they {said} among themselves, This is the heir; come, let us kill him, and let us seize on his inheritance. said Then {said} the king to the servants, Bind him hand and foot, and take him away, and cast [him] into outer darkness; there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth. said The Lord {said} unto my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand, till I make thine enemies thy footstool? said And the foolish {said} unto the wise, Give us of your oil; for our lamps are gone out. said But he answered and {said}, Verily I say unto you, I know you not. said His lord {said} unto him, Well done, [thou] good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord. said He also that had received two talents came and {said}, Lord, thou deliveredst unto me two talents: behold, I have gained two other talents beside them. said His lord {said} unto him, Well done, good and faithful servant; thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord. said Then he which had received the one talent came and {said}, Lord, I knew thee that thou art an hard man, reaping where thou hast not sown, and gathering where thou hast not strowed: said His lord answered and {said} unto him, [Thou] wicked and slothful servant, thou knewest that I reap where I sowed not, and gather where I have not strowed: said Thou hast {said}. said Thou hast {said}: nevertheless I say unto you, Hereafter shall ye see the Son of man sitting on the right hand of power, and coming in the clouds of heaven. said And he {said} unto them, Unto you it is given to know the mystery of the kingdom of God: but unto them that are without, all [these] things are done in parables: said For Moses {said}, Honour thy father and thy mother; and, Whoso curseth father or mother, let him die the death: said But those husbandmen {said} among themselves, This is the heir; come, let us kill him, and the inheritance shall be ours. said For David himself said by the Holy Ghost, The LORD {said} to my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand, till I make thine enemies thy footstool. said For David himself {said} by the Holy Ghost, The LORD said to my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand, till I make thine enemies thy footstool. said It is {said}, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God. said But that ye may know that the Son of man hath power upon earth to forgive sins, he {said} unto the sick of the palsy, I say unto thee, Arise, and take up thy couch, and go into thine house. said And on the morrow when he departed, he took out two pence, and gave [them] to the host, and {said} unto him, Take care of him; and whatsoever thou spendest more, when I come again, I will repay thee. said Therefore also {said} the wisdom of God, I will send them prophets and apostles, and [some] of them they shall slay and persecute: said And he {said}, This will I do: I will pull down my barns, and build greater; and there will I bestow all my fruits and my goods. said But God {said} unto him, [Thou] fool, this night thy soul shall be required of thee: then whose shall those things be, which thou hast provided? said Then {said} he unto the dresser of his vineyard, Behold, these three years I come seeking fruit on this fig tree, and find none: cut it down; why cumbereth it the ground? said And he answering {said} unto him, Lord, let it alone this year also, till I shall dig about it, and dung [it]: said And they all with one [consent] began to make excuse. The first {said} unto him, I have bought a piece of ground, and I must needs go and see it: I pray thee have me excused. said And another {said}, I have bought five yoke of oxen, and I go to prove them: I pray thee have me excused. said And another {said}, I have married a wife, and therefore I cannot come. said So that servant came, and showed his lord these things. Then the master of the house being angry {said} to his servant, Go out quickly into the streets and lanes of the city, and bring in hither the poor, and the maimed, and the halt, and the blind. said And the servant {said}, Lord, it is done as thou hast commanded, and yet there is room. said And the lord {said} unto the servant, Go out into the highways and hedges, and compel [them] to come in, that my house may be filled. said And the younger of them {said} to [his] father, Father, give me the portion of goods that falleth [to me]. And he divided unto them [his] living. said And when he came to himself, he {said}, How many hired servants of my father's have bread enough and to spare, and I perish with hunger! said And the son {said} unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and in thy sight, and am no more worthy to be called thy son. said But the father {said} to his servants, Bring forth the best robe, and put [it] on him; and put a ring on his hand, and shoes on [his] feet: said And he {said} unto him, Thy brother is come; and thy father hath killed the fatted calf, because he hath received him safe and sound. said And he answering {said} to [his] father, Lo, these many years do I serve thee, neither transgressed I at any time thy commandment: and yet thou never gavest me a kid, that I might make merry with my friends: said And he {said} unto him, Son, thou art ever with me, and all that I have is thine. said And he {said} also unto his disciples, There was a certain rich man, which had a steward; and the same was accused unto him that he had wasted his goods. said And he called him, and {said} unto him, How is it that I hear this of thee? give an account of thy stewardship; for thou mayest be no longer steward. said Then the steward {said} within himself, What shall I do? for my lord taketh away from me the stewardship: I cannot dig; to beg I am ashamed. said So he called every one of his lord's debtors [unto him], and {said} unto the first, How much owest thou unto my lord? said And he said, An hundred measures of oil. And he {said} unto him, Take thy bill, and sit down quickly, and write fifty. said And he {said}, An hundred measures of oil. And he said unto him, Take thy bill, and sit down quickly, and write fifty. said Then said he to another, And how much owest thou? And he said, An hundred measures of wheat. And he {said} unto him, Take thy bill, and write fourscore. said Then {said} he to another, And how much owest thou? And he said, An hundred measures of wheat. And he said unto him, Take thy bill, and write fourscore. said Then said he to another, And how much owest thou? And he {said}, An hundred measures of wheat. And he said unto him, Take thy bill, and write fourscore. said And he cried and {said}, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame. said But Abraham {said}, Son, remember that thou in thy lifetime receivedst thy good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things: but now he is comforted, and thou art tormented. said Then he {said}, I pray thee therefore, father, that thou wouldest send him to my father's house: said And he {said}, Nay, father Abraham: but if one went unto them from the dead, they will repent. said And he {said} unto him, If they hear not Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded, though one rose from the dead. said And he would not for a while: but afterward he {said} within himself, Though I fear not God, nor regard man; said And he called his ten servants, and delivered them ten pounds, and {said} unto them, Occupy till I come. said And he {said} unto him, Well, thou good servant: because thou hast been faithful in a very little, have thou authority over ten cities. said And he {said} likewise to him, Be thou also over five cities. said And he {said} unto them that stood by, Take from him the pound, and give [it] to him that hath ten pounds. said And they {said} unto him, Lord, he hath ten pounds. said Then {said} the lord of the vineyard, What shall I do? I will send my beloved son: it may be they will reverence [him] when they see him. said And David himself saith in the book of Psalms, The Lord {said} unto my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand, said When I sent you without purse, and scrip, and shoes, lacked ye any thing? And they {said}, Nothing. said Because I {said} unto thee, I saw thee under the fig tree, believest thou? thou shalt see greater things than these. said Marvel not that I {said} unto thee, Ye must be born again. said Thou hast well {said}, I have no husband: said But I {said} unto you, That ye also have seen me, and believe not. said Therefore {said} I unto you, that no man can come unto me, except it were given unto him of my Father. said He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath {said}, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water. said I {said} therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your sins: for if ye believe not that I am [he], ye shall die in your sins. said Even [the same] that I {said} unto you from the beginning. said Ye do the deeds of your father. Then {said} they to him, We be not born of fornication; we have one Father, [even] God. said But ye believe not, because ye are not of my sheep, as I {said} unto you. said Is it not written in your law, I {said}, Ye are gods? said Say ye of him, whom the Father hath sanctified, and sent into the world, Thou blasphemest; because I {said}, I am the Son of God? said {Said} I not unto thee, that, if thou wouldest believe, thou shouldest see the glory of God? said And I knew that thou hearest me always: but because of the people which stand by I {said} [it], that they may believe that thou hast sent me. said And I know that his commandment is life everlasting: whatsoever I speak therefore, even as the Father {said} unto me, so I speak. said Little children, yet a little while I am with you. Ye shall seek me: and as I {said} unto the Jews, Whither I go, ye cannot come; so now I say to you. said But the Comforter, [which is] the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have {said} unto you. said Ye have heard how I said unto you, I go away, and come [again] unto you. If ye loved me, ye would rejoice, because I {said}, I go unto the Father: for my Father is greater than I. said Ye have heard how I {said} unto you, I go away, and come [again] unto you. If ye loved me, ye would rejoice, because I said, I go unto the Father: for my Father is greater than I. said Remember the word that I {said} unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you; if they have kept my saying, they will keep yours also. said But these things have I told you, that when the time shall come, ye may remember that I told you of them. And these things I {said} not unto you at the beginning, because I was with you. said But because I have {said} these things unto you, sorrow hath filled your heart. said All things that the Father hath are mine: therefore {said} I, that he shall take of mine, and shall show [it] unto you. said Do ye inquire among yourselves of that I {said}, A little while, and ye shall not see me: and again, a little while, and ye shall see me? said His disciples {said} unto him, Lo, now speakest thou plainly, and speakest no proverb. said I spake openly to the world; I ever taught in the synagogue, and in the temple, whither the Jews always resort; and in secret have I {said} nothing. said Why askest thou me? ask them which heard me, what I have {said} unto them: behold, they know what I said. said Why askest thou me? ask them which heard me, what I have said unto them: behold, they know what I {said}. ~~~~~~
