better Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much {better} than they? better How much then is a man {better} than a sheep? Wherefore it is lawful to do well on the sabbath days. better But whoso shall offend one of these little ones which believe in me, it were {better} for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and [that] he were drowned in the depth of the sea. better Wherefore if thy hand or thy foot offend thee, cut them off, and cast [them] from thee: it is {better} for thee to enter into life halt or maimed, rather than having two hands or two feet to be cast into everlasting fire. better And if thine eye offend thee, pluck it out, and cast [it] from thee: it is {better} for thee to enter into life with one eye, rather than having two eyes to be cast into hell fire. better And whosoever shall offend one of [these] little ones that believe in me, it is {better} for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and he were cast into the sea. better And if thy hand offend thee, cut it off: it is {better} for thee to enter into life maimed, than having two hands to go into hell, into the fire that never shall be quenched: better And if thy foot offend thee, cut it off: it is {better} for thee to enter halt into life, than having two feet to be cast into hell, into the fire that never shall be quenched: better And if thine eye offend thee, pluck it out: it is {better} for thee to enter into the kingdom of God with one eye, than having two eyes to be cast into hell fire: better No man also having drunk old [wine] straightway desireth new: for he saith, The old is {better}. better Consider the ravens: for they neither sow nor reap; which neither have storehouse nor barn; and God feedeth them: how much more are ye {better} than the fowls? better It were {better} for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and he cast into the sea, than that he should offend one of these little ones. ~~~~~~
