first Leave there thy gift before the altar, and go thy way; {first} be reconciled to thy brother, and then come and offer thy gift. first But seek ye {first} the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. first Thou hypocrite, {first} cast out the beam out of thine own eye; and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother's eye. first Or else how can one enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he {first} bind the strong man? and then he will spoil his house. first Then goeth he, and taketh with himself seven other spirits more wicked than himself, and they enter in and dwell there: and the last [state] of that man is worse than the {first}.
