gird <LUK12 -37> Blessed [are] those servants, whom the lord when he cometh shall find watching: verily I say unto you, that he shall {gird} himself, and make them to sit down to meat, and will come forth and serve them.

gird <LUK17 -8> And will not rather say unto him, Make ready wherewith I may sup, and {gird} thyself, and serve me, till I have eaten and drunken; and afterward thou shalt eat and drink?

gird <JOH21 -18> Verily, verily, I say unto thee, When thou wast young, thou girdedst thyself, and walkedst whither thou wouldest: but when thou shalt be old, thou shalt stretch forth thy hands, and another shall {gird} thee, and carry [thee] whither thou wouldest not.
