ALL THE QUESTIONS JESUS ASKED IN HIS PARABLES Mtj 5:13 Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men. Mtj 6:26 Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they? Mtj 6:28 And why take ye thought for raiment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin: Mtj 7:3 And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother's eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye? Mtj 7:4 Or how wilt thou say to thy brother, Let me pull out the mote out of thine eye; and, behold, a beam [is] in thine own eye? Mtj 7:9 Or what man is there of you, whom if his son ask bread, will he give him a stone? Mtj 7:10 Or if he ask a fish, will he give him a serpent? Mtj 7:11 If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him? Mtj 7:16 Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles? Mtj 9:15 Can the children of the bridechamber mourn, as long as the bridegroom is with them? but the days will come, when the bridegroom shall be taken from them, and then shall they fast. Mtj 10:29 Are not two sparrows sold for a farthing? and one of them shall not fall on the ground without your Father. Mtj 11:7 What went ye out into the wilderness to see? A reed shaken with the wind? Mtj 11:8 But what went ye out for to see? A man clothed in soft raiment? behold, they that wear soft [clothing] are in kings' houses. Mtj 11:9 But what went ye out for to see? A prophet? yea, I say unto you, and more than a prophet. Mtj 11:16 But whereunto shall I liken this generation? It is like unto children sitting in the markets, and calling unto their fellows, Mtj 12:29 Or else how can one enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he first bind the strong man? and then he will spoil his house. Mtj 13:27 So the servants of the householder came and said unto him, Sir, didst not thou sow good seed in thy field? from whence then hath it tares? Mtj 13:28 He said unto them, An enemy hath done this. The servants said unto him, Wilt thou then that we go and gather them up? Mtj 13:51 Have ye understood all these things? Mtj 15:16 Are ye also yet without understanding? Mtj 15:17 Do not ye yet understand, that whatsoever entereth in at the mouth goeth into the belly, and is cast out into the draught? Mtj 16:8 O ye of little faith, why reason ye among yourselves, because ye have brought no bread? Mtj 16:9 Do ye not yet understand, neither remember the five loaves of the five thousand, and how many baskets ye took up? Mtj 16:10 Neither the seven loaves of the four thousand, and how many baskets ye took up? Mtj 16:11 How is it that ye do not understand that I spake [it] not to you concerning bread, that ye should beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and of the Sadducees? Mtj 18:12 How think ye? if a man have an hundred sheep, and one of them be gone astray, doth he not leave the ninety and nine, and goeth into the mountains, and seeketh that which is gone astray? Mtj 18:33 Shouldest not thou also have had compassion on thy fellowservant, even as I had pity on thee? Mtj 20:6 And about the eleventh hour he went out, and found others standing idle, and saith unto them, Why stand ye here all the day idle? Mtj 20:13 But he answered one of them, and said, Friend, I do thee no wrong: didst not thou agree with me for a penny? Mtj 20:15 Is it not lawful for me to do what I will with mine own? Is thine eye evil, because I am good? Mtj 21:28 But what think ye? A [certain] man had two sons; and he came to the first, and said, Son, go work to day in my vineyard. Mtj 21:31 Whether of them twain did the will of [his] father? Verily I say unto you, That the publicans and the harlots go into the kingdom of God before you. Mtj 21:40 When the lord therefore of the vineyard cometh, what will he do unto those husbandmen? Mtj 21:42 Did ye never read in the scriptures, The stone which the builders rejected, the same is become the head of the corner: this is the Lord's doing, and it is marvellous in our eyes? Mtj 22:12 And he saith unto him, Friend, how camest thou in hither not having a wedding garment? And he was speechless. Mtj 24:45 Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his lord hath made ruler over his household, to give them meat in due season? Lkj 7:42 And when they had nothing to pay, he frankly forgave them both. Tell me therefore, which of them will love him most? Lkj 7:44 Seest thou this woman? I entered into thine house, thou gavest me no water for my feet: but she hath washed my feet with tears, and wiped [them] with the hairs of her head. Lkj 10:36 Which now of these three, thinkest thou, was neighbour unto him that fell among the thieves? Lkj 11:6 For a friend of mine in his journey is come to me, and I have nothing to set before him? Lkj 12:17 And he thought within himself, saying, What shall I do, because I have no room where to bestow my fruits? Lkj 12:20 But God said unto him, [Thou] fool, this night thy soul shall be required of thee: then whose shall those things be, which thou hast provided? Lkj 12:42 Who then is that faithful and wise steward, whom [his] lord shall make ruler over his household, to give [them their] portion of meat in due season? Lkj 13:7 Then said he unto the dresser of his vineyard, Behold, these three years I come seeking fruit on this fig tree, and find none: cut it down; why cumbereth it the ground? Lkj 14:28 For which of you, intending to build a tower, sitteth not down first, and counteth the cost, whether he have [sufficient] to finish [it]? Lkj 14:31 Or what king, going to make war against another king, sitteth not down first, and consulteth whether he be able with ten thousand to meet him that cometh against him with twenty thousand? Lkj 15:8 Either what woman having ten pieces of silver, if she lose one piece, doth not light a candle, and sweep the house, and seek diligently till she find [it]? Lkj 16:2 And he called him, and said unto him, How is it that I hear this of thee? give an account of thy stewardship; for thou mayest be no longer steward. Lkj 16:3 Then the steward said within himself, What shall I do? for my lord taketh away from me the stewardship: I cannot dig; to beg I am ashamed. Lkj 16:5 So he called every one of his lord's debtors [unto him], and said unto the first, How much owest thou unto my lord? Lkj 16:7 Then said he to another, And how much owest thou? And he said, An hundred measures of wheat. And he said unto him, Take thy bill, and write fourscore. Lkj 16:11 If therefore ye have not been faithful in the unrighteous mammon, who will commit to your trust the true [riches]? Lkj 16:12 And if ye have not been faithful in that which is another man's, who shall give you that which is your own? Lkj 17:7 But which of you, having a servant plowing or feeding cattle, will say unto him by and by, when he is come from the field, Go and sit down to meat? Lkj 17:8 And will not rather say unto him, Make ready wherewith I may sup, and gird thyself, and serve me, till I have eaten and drunken; and afterward thou shalt eat and drink? Lkj 17:9 Doth he thank that servant because he did the things that were commanded him? I trow not. Lkj 18:7 And shall not God avenge his own elect, which cry day and night unto him, though he bear long with them? Lkj 18:8 I tell you that he will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth? Lkj 19:23 Wherefore then gavest not thou my money into the bank, that at my coming I might have required mine own with usury? ~~~~~~
